Who we are

What we collect

Your name and email address when you register, and your password, stored only as a one-way encrypted hash that nobody — including us — can read. We also keep your subscription status and payment records for invoicing and GST.

The birth details you enter — dates, times and places, for yourself or for clients — along with any notes or tags you add to a saved kundli. These are stored so your charts are there when you return. If you enter details belonging to someone else, you are responsible for having their permission.

A phone number and, where you give one, a billing state and GSTIN, when you buy something. The number goes to the payment gateway so the receipt reaches you, and is used to reach you about a booking or a class. The state and GSTIN appear on the tax invoice because the law requires them there.

For a consultation, the birth details of everyone whose chart is to be read, and the question you choose to write. These are used to prepare and hold that call, and are kept with your booking so a later reading can refer back to it.

For the Personal Mentorship Program, your enrolment, which instalments have been paid, and nothing about what you watch. We do not track which recordings you open or how far through one you got.

Your IP address is recorded when you sign up and when a free daily chart is used. This is solely to stop one person creating many accounts to abuse the free allowance. We do not use it to track you and we do not build advertising profiles.

What we never collect

• Card and banking details. These go directly to our payment provider and never reach our servers.
• Your phone number. We do not ask for it and do not store it.
• Location tracking. Places you type are looked up as text; your device location is never requested.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Limited information reaches the services that keep the site running: our payment gateway partner receives your name, email, phone number and order amount so payment can be taken; our hosting provider stores the site and your account data; our email provider receives your email address to send codes, invoices and booking confirmations; a place name you type is sent to a mapping service to find its coordinates, without any link to your account; and where classes are held or recordings are hosted on a third-party platform, that platform sees the name and address you join with.

The Download invoice link in a payment email opens that one invoice without a login, so that it can be forwarded to whoever does your books. The link is signed, cannot be edited to reach anybody else's invoice, and expires. Until it does, anyone holding that exact link can read that invoice — so treat a forwarded receipt as you would a paper one.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to investigate fraud or a breach of our Terms.

How long we keep it

Account and chart data stay for as long as your account exists. Payment and invoice records are kept as long as Indian tax law requires, even after an account is deleted. Sign-up IP records are kept only briefly, to enforce the free-tier limits.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete your account and its data entirely. Write to support@astroansh.com from your registered address and we will act within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Security, cookies and children

Passwords are stored only as one-way encrypted hashes and the site runs over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, but we hold no card details, which removes the most sensitive risk.

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember your language choice. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new date, and email you where we hold a valid address.
